Summer Housing
Housing Incentive Program
The summer incentive program will allow those residents who enroll in and complete a total of 6 or more hours during the summer to live in summer housing rent free. The housing for a resident participating in this program is considered “paid” for all three sessions if the resident has enrolled in and completed 6 hours or more during the summer. The resident will be able to move into their summer housing assignment at the beginning of the mini-mester and remain there through the end of Summer II. Apartment residents assigned to live in the apartments for Fall 2019 will be allowed to stay during the interim.
Information for Summer 2020 Residents
A mandatory Summer Housing Information Meeting will be held Monday, March 23, 2020, 9 pm in the McLane Great Hall (Bawcom Student Union 3rd Floor).
Every student expecting a summer assignment will be required to obtain the information from that meeting, either by attendance or a make-up meeting before receiving their summer housing assignment. You may make up the meeting after March 27, by going to the Student Life Office between 8:30 am and 4 pm, Monday - Friday, to review the information on video. Please plan on spending 45 minutes at the office.
The Summer Housing Application will be available March 24, 2020. Summer Housing Priority Assignment Application Deadline is Friday, April 3. After this date, applications will still be accepted, but summer housing assignments will be based on apartment availability, not on roommate preference.
