When Dr. Jo Wick was completing her BS in Mathematics at UMHB, Dr. Peter Chen encouraged her to continue her studies in statistics. Two graduate degrees later, she is now the associate director of graduate education and an associate professor in the Department of Biostatistics at the University of Kansas Medical Center. “I was impressed by the care and attention that my math professors at UMHB gave every single student.
