Information for Parents
Knowing that your child is being taken care of can make it a little easier to send them off to college. We are here to give your students the support, opportunities, and resources they need to develop as creative and critical thinkers. UMHB is consistently recognized as one of the best liberal-arts colleges in the nation by U.S. News & World Report, yet remains one of the most affordable private universities in the South.
Frequently Asked Questions
If your child lives in a dorm, his or her box number will be available on myCampus. Once logged in to myCampus, click on My Account and then "Campus Box Number." All of our dorms share the same address of 900 College Street, Box Number 1234, Belton, TX 76513 (where 1234 is your student's actual box number).
We are not permitted to disclose a student's grades to anyone without express, written consent from the student. Federal legislation, known as FERPA, protects student privacy. It is possible for a student to complete a FERPA consent form with the Registrar's office.
There are several ways to post payments to student accounts. Ensure that you know your child's student ID to make certain that your payment is attributed to your child.
It's easy for parents to load up cash on a student's CruCard. This money can be used to purchase food at numerous local vendors and goods at CVS Pharmacy. It can also be used to pay for printing on university printers, and it is honored by most campus offices. It's easy to add CruCash to your student's card at myCruCard.
Dining Dollars are only associated with your meal plan. They may only be used on-campus at Residential Dining, 1845 Grill, Chick-fil-A Express, Starbucks, and Mabee Market. They expire at the end of each semester. For further information, visit UMHB Dining Services.
CruCash can be used at those locations, various off-campus merchants and vending machines. These funds carry over each semester and can be refunded once you permanently leave campus.
Students can use Cru Cash at a growing number of on-campus and off-campus locations. See the full list of locations.

Cru Camp is UMHB's official orientation for new incoming students. Accepted students will have the opportunity to attend a variety of sessions to help them transition to UMHB, as well as be advised and registered for classes. The first year of college is a season of change and transition for both students and parents. For most parents, the adjustment of no longer having their child at home can be tough. Combining that with new financial aspects that come with someone attending college, parents realize any resource that can be helpful is welcomed, and we want to provide you with whatever help we can!More Information
How can we pray for your student?
1 John 5:14: "This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us." A distinctly Christian approach to education and to life shapes every part of what we do at UMHB. Our online Prayer Wall is one of many ways that UMHB seeks to invest in the spiritual wellness of every student.Submit a Prayer Request
