If you appreciate language, culture, and travel, a bachelor’s degree in Spanish could be a great choice for you. Spanish majors attain advanced language skills in the second most spoken language in the world. Students who already have Spanish language skills can accelerate through the curriculum via several credit-by-exam opportunities. The curriculum provides high quality, practical instruction according to the standards of the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages. Whether you are a native Spanish speaker or a non-native speaker, the BA in Spanish will prepare you to speak, read, and write Spanish at advanced levels and will open the door to a wide variety of careers, both in the U.S. and abroad.
