In the lobby of the museum we’ve highlighted our strong history in timeline form. It features our start in Independence, Texas in the 1800’s all the way to our present statistics.
The Rotating Exhibit features a new theme every semester, with multimedia features and fun artifacts pulled from our extensive collections. If you are an alumni, you might even see your face in an exhibit!
The Leadership Room showcases the past presidents of our University, their lives on campus and some of the changes and progress they brought during their time here. It brings to light other important leaders that have served as trustees and alumni association presidents.
Home Away from Home
Our replica of a dorm room from the 50’s is a true to life representation of what a student might have experienced over 60 years ago. Lovingly put together by many of our own alumnae, “Home Away from Home” is a time capsule you can walk into.
Nothing beats the real thing!
