“The purpose of Student Foundation is to serve the university by connecting alumni and supporters of the institution with the school’s student body.”
As representatives of the student body, members of Student Foundation will uphold university rules, maintain a dedication to academics, and practice leadership while exhibiting a positive attitude toward the institution.
Student Foundation Members
Luke is a senior, nursing major from New Braunfels. He is a scholarship recipient. His favorite tradition is Crusader Knights because it creates a brotherhood between the men involved. He is involved in First Year Collective, Cru Knights, and Baptist Student Ministry. After graduation, Luke plans on working in trauma or pediatrics.
Adrian is a senior, economics major from San Marcos. He is a scholarship recipient. Adrian is the senior class Vice President and is also involved in YoungLife and American Marketing Association. His favorite tradition is homecoming week because of the school spirit and fun events. After graduating, Adrian plans on attending graduate school in California or Florida and receive an MA in Economics. His goal for the future is work as a financial analyst for specialized bicycles.
Andrew is a sophomore, mathematics major from Troy. He is a scholarship recipient. Andrew’s favorite tradition is Stunt Night because it is a great way to meet people you would not normally talk to. He is involved in Cru Knights, Stunt Night, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. After graduation, he plans on becoming a high school math teacher.
Seth is a junior, pre-physical therapy major from Sugarland. He is a scholarship recipient. He is a C-Life Shepherd, Cru Leader, and a part of Search Cru. His favorite tradition is the combination of Homecoming and Stunt Night After graduation, Seth plans on working as a physical therapist and work with either high school or professional athletes.
Rachel is a senior, public relations major from Moody. She is a scholarship recipient. Her favorite UMHB tradition is Cru Knights because it is funny and allows students to laugh at themselves. She is involved in Student Foundation and the Student Event Planners Association. After graduation, Rachel plans to find a job in public relations somewhere in Austin.
Jacob is a junior, Christian studies major from Boerne. He is a scholarship recipient. His favorite tradition is Play Day because he loves being active and how it brings good, wholesome fun to the students. He is involved in First Year Collective, Easter Pageant, and Crusader Knights. After graduation, Jacob plans on doing full-time ministry as a pastor or missionary.
Analisa is a sophomore, marketing major from San Antonio. She is a scholarship recipient. Analisa’s favorite tradition is welcome week, because she got to meet so many new people. She is involved in Campus Activities Board, Search Cru, and Miss Mary Hardin-Baylor Pageant. After graduation, she would love to do marketing for the San Antonio Spurs.
Dawson is a sophomore, pre-physical therapy major from Cambridge. He is a scholarship recipient. Dawson plays on the baseball team and is also involved in Stunt Night and Campus Rec. His favorite UMHB tradition is Stunt Night. After graduation, he plans on becoming a sports’ physical therapist for a professional baseball organization.
Caleb is a senior, marketing major from Kalispell, Montana. He is a scholarship recipient. His favorite tradition is Welcome Week because of all the excitement and energy across campus. He is involved in First Year Collective, Cru Knights, and Campus Activities Board. After graduation, Caleb plans on being some form of content creator in a marketing environment.
Madison is a sophomore, pre-occupational therapy major from Killeen. She is a scholarship recipient. She is involved in Miss Mary Hardin-Baylor Pageant, Welcome Week, and drama ministry with Baptist Student Ministry. Her favorite tradition is Easter Pageant, because it is a great way to get involved, make friends, and spread the story of Christ. After graduation, Madison plans to pursue a career in occupational therapy with a focus on pediatrics and mental health.
Lauren is a junior, accounting and international business major from Georgetown. She is a scholarship recipient. She is involved in Gamma Beta Phi, Institute of Management Accountants, and Easter Pageant. Her favorite tradition is Easter Pageant because of how it brings together our community and spreads the love of Jesus. After graduating, Lauren plans on pursuing a masters’ degree in accounting and to sit for her certification as an accountant.
Haleigh is a senior, public relations major from La Vernia. She is a scholarship recipient. She is involved in Easter Pageant, Student Organizations, and Welcome Week. Her favorite tradition is Easter Pageant, because she loves to see how the gospel is shared through the students of UMHB. After graduation, she plans to pursue a career in public relations/marketing, potentially combining the two with ministry and missions.
Amy is a sophomore, nursing major from Flower Mound. She is a scholarship recipient. Her favorite UMHB tradition is the Easter Pageant because she loves seeing the gospel come to life. She is involved in Vista leadership team, Psalm 139 steering committee, and is a computer lab student. After graduation, Amy plans on pursuing a career in nursing and maybe become a physician’s assistant.
Joey is a senior, social work major from Boerne. He is a scholarship recipient. He is involved in First Year Collective, Baptist Student Ministry, Easter Pageant, Social Work Club, and Welcome Week. His favorite tradition is Cru Knights, because it provides opportunities for community, laughter, and fun. After graduating, Joey plans on working for a school district as a social worker, homeless student liaison, or counselor.
Emilee is a sophomore, pre-physical therapy major from Flower Mound. She is a scholarship recipient. Emilee’s favorite tradition is the Dubbing Ceremony because that was the day she became a Crusader Forever. She is involved in Welcome Week and assistant teaching in anatomy and physiology. After graduation, Emilee plans on working in medicine for mission trips.
Kendall is a junior, finance and management major from Katy. She is a scholarship recipient. She plays on the women’s basketball team and is a part of Student Government Association as a student athletic representative as well as part of the American Marketing Association. Her favorite tradition is Homecoming, because she loves to talk with alumni and hear about their traditions. After she graduates, Kendall plans on becoming a financial advisor or playing basketball overseas.
Blake is a senior, exercise physiology major from Castle Rock, Colorado. He is a scholarship recipient. Blake is involved in C-Life and Hope for the Hungry. His favorite tradition is Homecoming, because the campus is united and full of school spirit. After graduation, Blake plans on being a strength and conditioning coach in either the team or private sector.
Shelby is a senior, education (EC-6) major from Huffman. She is a scholarship recipient. She is involved in First Year Collective, Hope for the Hungry, and Easter Pageant. Her favorite UMHB tradition is Easter Pageant, because it is beautiful to see campus stop and unite to display the gospel. After graduating, Shelby is looking into full-time ministry and exploring ministry and seminary options.
Corey is a junior, pre-physical therapy major from Kerrville. He is a scholarship recipient. He plays on the men’s soccer team and is a C-Life Bible Study leader and serves on the student athletic advisory committee. Corey’s favorite UMHB tradition is Revival, because it is a great time to get closer to God. After graduation, Corey plans to further his education at a physical therapy school.
Emma is a junior, nursing major from Round Rock. She is a scholarship recipient. She is involved in many things around campus including Easter Pageant, Welcome Week and Miss Mary Hardin-Baylor Pageant. Her favorite tradition is Easter Pageant, because of the life changing effects on everyone involved. After graduation, Emma plans on possibly getting a masters’ degree and being a labor and delivery nurse for mission trips in developing countries.
