“The purpose of Student Foundation is to serve the university by connecting alumni and supporters of the institution with the school’s student body.”
As representatives of the student body, members of Student Foundation will uphold university rules, maintain a dedication to academics, and practice leadership while exhibiting a positive attitude toward the institution.
Student Foundation Members

Andrew Berg
President
Andrew is a senior mathematics major from Troy. He is a scholarship recipient. His favorite tradition is Stunt Night because it is a fun tradition that involves all of the classes. He is involved in FCA and Stunt Night, and he is a resident assistant at McLane Hall. After graduation, he plans on becoming a high school math teacher.

Gilda Tchao
Vice President
Gilda is a junior biology pre-med major from Midland. She is a scholarship recipient. Her favorite tradition is Move-in Day during Welcome Week because it is a huge part of welcoming home incoming freshmen. She is involved in the Association of Black Students and Pre-Health Professionals Club, and she is a teacher’s assistant for microbiology labs. After graduation, Gilda plans on furthering her education at a medical school in Texas, eventually specializing in dermatology.

Taylor Humphrey
Taylor is a junior elementary education major from Belton. She is a scholarship recipient. Her favorite tradition is Welcome Week because it is pivotal in the lives of freshman and transfer students. She is involved in the Student Activities office, serves as an executive on the Campus Activities Board, and was a part of the steering committee for Welcome Week 2020. After graduation, she plans on teaching in a local school district.

Dawson Delks
Dawson is a senior pre-physical therapy major from Cedar Park. He is a scholarship recipient. His favorite tradition is Stunt Night because it is so much fun to watch and be a part of. He is involved in Welcome Week, Campus Recreation, and Big Event. After graduation, he plans on entering the U.S military as a physical therapist.

Garrett Smith
Garrett is a junior film studies major from Princeton. He is a scholarship recipient. His favorite tradition on campus is Welcome Week because it is a fun way to serve our new students and incorporate them into the campus culture. He is involved in Cru Films, Welcome Week, and Homecoming. After graduation, he plans on working in the film industry in hopes of becoming a screenwriter or director.

Amy Luong
Amy is a senior nursing major from Flower Mound. She is a scholarship recipient. Her favorite tradition is Homecoming because it helps alumni reconnect with college friends and celebrate their school spirit. She is involved in Gamma Beta Phi, NSA, and Welcome Week. After graduation, she plans on working as a registered nurse wherever God calls her.

Emilee Peloquin
Emilee is a senior pre-physical therapy major from Flower Mound. She is a scholarship recipient. Her favorite tradition is Dubbing Ceremony because it is the day you officially become a Crusader for life! She is a part of Student Foundation, the head resident assistant at Farris Hall, and a Legacy student. After graduation, she plans to earn a doctorate in physical therapy and work as a pediatric physical therapist.

Thomas Henderson
Thomas is a sophomore Christian ministry major from Keller. He is a scholarship recipient. His favorite tradition is Dubbing Ceremony because it introduces new students to longstanding traditions. He is involved in the Spiritual Life office as a student worker, 33 Authentic Manhood, and C-Life. After graduation, he plans on working at a local church and serving people wherever God leads him to be.

Anna Martin
Anna is a junior marketing and multimedia information technology major from Georgetown. She is a scholarship recipient. Her favorite tradition is Welcome Week because it is a fun environment that welcomes new students to campus. She is involved in Student Foundation and Knit and Cro, and she is a Legacy student. After graduation, she plans on earning a master’s degree in business and pursuing either wedding planning or event and fundraiser management for a nonprofit organization.

Katie Huffman
Katie is a junior nursing major from Rockwall. She is a scholarship recipient. Her favorite tradition is Easter Pageant because it is so beautiful to see the life of Christ celebrated in our community. She is an RA in Independence Village and has participated in many intramural sports. After graduation, she plans on becoming a pediatric nurse.

Connor Troy
Connor is a junior pre-physical therapy major from Keller. He is a scholarship recipient. His favorite tradition is Easter Pageant because of how it allows the surrounding community and student body to celebrate the Gospel together. He is involved in C-Life, Easter Pageant, and intramural sports, and he is a supervisor in Mayborn Campus Center. After graduation, he plans on furthering his education in physical therapy.

Emily Gillispie
Emily is a senior nursing major from Georgetown. She is a scholarship recipient. Her favorite tradition is Homecoming because of all the fun aspects it offers, including the football game, live music, and fireworks. She is involved in NSA, Gamma Beta Phi, and Welcome Week. After graduation, she plans on moving out of state and becoming an ER nurse.

Zane Jackson
Zane is a junior physical education major from Leander. He is a scholarship recipient. His favorite tradition is Cru Knights because it is a way to build friendships and have fun. He is involved in intramural sports and Student Foundation, and he is a supervisor at Mayborn Campus Center. After graduation, he plans on being a teacher or coach wherever God leads him.

Brittany Madison
Brittany is a junior nursing major from Midland. She is a scholarship recipient. Her favorite tradition is Easter Pageant because it shows the life of Jesus in such a powerful way. She is involved in NSA, Easter Pageant, and Student Foundation. After graduation, she plans on working as a neonatal or pediatric intensive care unit nurse and serving on mission trips around the world.

Price Peden
Price is a junior finance major from Flower Mound. He is a scholarship recipient. His favorite tradition is Easter Pageant because it is a way to involve the community in sharing the Gospel. He is involved in C-Life and FCA, and is a member of the Men’s Soccer team. After graduation, he plans on assisting different churches and faith-based organizations with their finances.

Connor Tubbs
Connor is a junior pre-physical therapy major from Beaumont. He is a scholarship recipient. His favorite tradition is Cru Knights because it promotes brotherhood and strong friendships. He is involved in Cru Knights, CASL, intramural sports, and FYC. After graduation, he plans on attending graduate school for physical therapy.

Mahri Williams
Mahri is a junior accounting and BCIS major from Waco. She is a scholarship recipient. Her favorite tradition is Homecoming because it is a time where you can find current students and alumni coming together to celebrate their alma mater. She is involved in Gamma Beta Phi honor society, is a student worker in the Development office, and is a part of the UMHB chapter of the Institute of Management Accountants. After graduation, she plans on working at a small accounting firm or for a nonprofit organization.

Dannah Fritschle
Dannah is a sophomore transformational development major from Austin. She is a scholarship recipient. Her favorite tradition is Easter Pageant because of the unbelievable joy of seeing the story of Christ. She is a member of the Women’s Soccer team, a Spiritual Life intern, Missions Emphasis Committee member, and a CAE tutor. After graduation, she plans on becoming a long-term missionary in the 10/40 window.
