Meet the BSM Lead Team

Cade Elkins

Cade is a senior Social Work major from Belton, Texas. He loves leading worship, drinking coffee and getting to know people! He seeks to create a space that people can feel comfortable to worship through music.

Selah Cordova

Selah is a junior Christian studies major from San Antonio, Texas. She enjoys being involved on campus. Selah loves thrifting, hiking, green tea, and serving others. She hopes to engage others and show them God’s transformational love through the BSM.

Rylee Wilson

Rylee is a senior Clinical Psychology major from Houston, Texas. She loves singing, reading, listening to music and Jesus. She enjoys getting the opportunity to serve others through BSM and is grateful for the community BSM has given her at UMHB.

Lillian Robertson

Lillian is a sophomore Psychology major from Houston, Texas. She can play around 10 instruments and loves to lead people in worship at the BSM.

Jake Crain

Jake is a senior Christian Ministry major from Houston, TX. His hobbies include fishing, sports, and spending time with friends. Jake hopes for the BSM to be a welcoming place where Christ is shared through love and service.

Vaughn York

Vaughn is a sophomore Psychology major from Lago Vista, Texas. He loves to play guitar and is loud. Vaughn enjoys being intentional with people in his D-Group and encourages them in their walk with Christ.

Emma Wingate

Emma is a nursing major from Cedar Park, Texas. She loves ice cream, creative writing, and spending time with friends. She's excited to dive deep into God's Word this year at the BSM!

Mary O'Neal

Mary is a Finance and Accounting double major from Marquez, Texas. She loves live music, gluten-free things, and her two dogs Sarge and Elsa. Mary hopes that the BSM can be a place where people are changed by God's Word.

Kristofer Hansell

Kristofer is a senior Finance and International Business double major from Liberty Hill, Texas. He enjoys playing video games, watching hockey, and hanging out with friends. He loves going on mission trips through Global Outreach.

David Darrah

David is a senior Electrical Engineering major from Albuquerque, New Mexico. David enjoys cooking for others, being in nature, and playing the guitar. David enjoys that the BSM is a place where other can come to build each other up.

Bethany Fitzwater

Bethany is a senior Nursing major from Belton, Texas. She serves at her church, New Sunset Community Church in Killeen. She likes Pride & Prejudice, dogs, and hanging out with friends. Bethany hopes to grow in her walk with Christ this year while encouraging others to do the same.

Chayse Wilhite

Chayse is a senior Nursing major from Rockwall, Texas. She loves Diet Coke her dogs! She enjoys that the BSM is a welcoming environment.

Trenton West

Trenton is a senior Church Music Major from Eastland, TX. He loves to sing, play guitar, and capture memories through videography. He hopes to create an atmosphere centered around fellowship and worship within the BSM.

Tyler Helms

Tyler is a sophomore Pre-Med Biology major from Dripping Springs, Texas. He enjoys going on walks, Sweet T, and go to the gym. Tyler loves to come and worship through music at the BSM.

Daniel McAfee

Daniel has been the BSM Director for the last 5 years. He recently finished his second Master's degree from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.
