Dr. Stephen Baldridge
Dr. Stephen Baldridge was appointed Interim Dean of the McLane College of Business as of June 1, 2024. ersity of Texas at Arlington and earned his bachelor's degree in social work from Lubbock Christian University. Before joining UMHB, Dr. Baldridge was on faculty at Abilene Christian University, where he directed the undergraduate social work program and served as Assistant Dean of the College of Education and Human Services. His research and practice interests include homelessness, environmental justice, higher education, community development, and teaching pedagogy. He currently serves as an elder at the Belton Church of Christ, and Secretary of the Board of Directors at Helping Hands Ministry of Belton.
Robert Bass
Robert was born in Colon, Panama in 1958 then at the age of 11 years old he moved to the United States. Robert attended Manor Jr High and graduated from Killeen High School in 1976. d 44 years and they have three sons, three daughters-in-law and 12 grandchildren. Robert is licensed and certified by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations as a Master Electrician and started his business R.K. Bass Electric Inc in 1985 with 2 employees. The company has grown to 200 employees in the past 39 years. Robert has been a youth baseball and soccer sponsor and coach, a sponsor on many youth church camps and has served as Sunday School teacher at the churches he attended. He is currently a deacon at Belton First Baptist Church and has been on several mission trips to Brazil, Panama, and Indonesia where he has helped build churches, teach, and do electrical work. He has been involved with the local Chamber of Commerce and is a past Board Chairman of the Harker Heights Chamber. He currently serves on the Belton Body of Christ clinic board, Temple Zoning Board of Adjustments, Temple Building and Standards Board and the TSTC Advisory Trade Board. Robert is a member of the Independent Electrical Contractors Association (IEC) and is a Cen-Tex IEC past president and a national IEC past board member. Central Texas Workforce recognized him as being instrumental in bringing in four-year electrical apprentice classes to the Killeen area through IEC. He has supported advancement in his employees’ particular fields by having his company sponsor employees in conferences, seminars and apprenticeship programs. Through his company, he has helped monetarily and/or with workdays at Peaceable Kingdom, United Way, American Cancer Society, Body of Christ Community clinic, Ronald McDonald House and many others.

His contributions to several advisory boards, including the Temple Economic Development Corporation and the Cultural Activities Center Advisory Board, demonstrate his commitment to the city's growth and cultural enrichment. Bryan also served as the Immediate Past Chair of the Temple Tax Increment & Reinvestment Zone #1. He actively participates in the Temple Chamber of Commerce, particularly in their Leadership Temple program, which educates current and future community leaders on the intricacies of Temple. Moreover, he is deeply involved in his church, playing drums for the Praise and Worship team and leading Sunday School classes. Additionally, Bryan is active in the local Masonic Lodges and has previously served as Master of two local lodges. Bryan is married to Karen, and they spend time with their daughter Reagan, who is active in the local 4H program, while their youngest son Gage attends Baylor University. Bryan and Karen have two older sons: Hudson, a student at the University of Texas at Permian Basin, and Andrew, an EMS provider. Andrew and his wife, Phyllis, recently welcomed a daughter, Ranni. The family enjoys a shared interest in Formula 1 Racing and SXSW.

In 2020 he was awarded the recognition of “Man Enough to Be a Girl Scout” by the Girl Scouts of Central Texas.
