The Central Texas State Fair is back in Bell County for a four-day weekend event featuring live music, carnival rides and professional bull riding.
Concerts are free with admission and will feature Casey Donahew with Elvie Shane, Thursday, Aug. 29 , Kevin Fowler with Austin Williams Friday, Aug.30, Pat Green and Jon Wolfe Saturday, Aug. 31, and Wade Brown with Dylan Marlowe Sunday Sept.1, according to the Cadence Bank Center website.
Saturday the fair will host the “Twisted Metal Mayhem Demo Derby,” which will showcase three different events: Full Size, Compact classes and Chain Gang along with a Power Wheel kids race.
The fair hours are 5-11 p.m. Thursday, 5 p.m. - midnight Friday, and noon to midnight Saturday and Sunday. Admission is $12 for a standard adult and $2 for children ages 2-12. The Demo Derby is not included in general admission, the prices for the Demo Derby are as followed:
