Belton, Texas – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor Jazz Ensemble will continue its 2015-2016 season with its program “Animal Farm” on Thursday, February 25, at 7:30 p.m. in W. W. Walton Chapel on the UMHB campus. This event is free and open to the public.
This concert qualifies as a Fine Arts Experience (FAE) credit for UMHB students. The Fine Arts Experience program endeavors to expose students to a wide variety of artistic expression during their time on campus. To this end, students are required to attend at least one designated Fine Arts Experience event each semester.
The concert will feature jazz charts that reference animals in their titles, including works by Stan Kenton, Gordon Goodwin, Kris Berg, Sammy Nestico, Geoff Keezer, and the Beatles.
