Belton, TX – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor College of Visual and Performing Arts will host a Highways and Byways concert by two great bands. Singer/songwriter Danny Britt and his band Red Dawg will perform Tuesday, March 1, at 7:30 p.m. along with The Wasted Hearts in the Hughes Recital Hall in Presser Hall on the UMHB campus. Both concerts are free and open to the public.
This concert qualifies as a Fine Arts Experience (FAE) credit for UMHB students. The Fine Arts Experience program endeavors to expose students to a wide variety of artistic expression during their time on campus. To this end, students are required to attend at least one designated Fine Arts Experience event each semester.
Britt and his band Red Dawg consists of some of the most talented musicians Austin has to offer, their laid back, down home, progressive country style has made them performing favorites in Austin for years. The Wasted Hearts are an upcoming young Americana Roots band new to the Austin scene.
