Summer Swim
We regret to inform you that the 2021 Summer Swim program is canceled.
During this unprecedented year of having implemented COVID protocols, UMHB is still in the process of determining appropriate next steps for campus operations. Furthermore, there are three construction projects scheduled in and around the building, affecting access to and egress from the natatorium. In order to best ensure the safety of patrons, the Summer Swim program will not take place this year. Thank you for your understanding.
The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor is pleased to announce the Summer Swim Program will be returning for Summer 2021. Just like in 2019, UMHB will offer two sessions of classes, each lasting two weeks.
The program offers lessons for swimmers of every skill level. The youngest students take part in the Mommy/Daddy and Me or Pre-school classes. Other classes take children through every step of learning to swim, from holding their breath to fine-tuning each stroke.
Summer swim lessons at UMHB are all lead by Red Cross-certified water safety instructors. Organizers are still recruiting instructors for this summer.
