A minimum undergraduate 3.0 GPA is required for regular admission. Students with more than five years of professional work experience lacking a 3.0 undergraduate GPA will be considered on a case-by-case basis after interviewing with the program director. Applicants must hold an undergraduate degree from a 4-year regionally accredited college/university.See the Admissions section of this catalog for admission application procedures and costs.
No prerequisites are required; academic leveling courses from Peregrine Academics are strongly preferred for accounting and finance. These leveling courses and how to register for them will be explained in new student orientation.
One graduate assistantship is awarded each academic year. Applications are required. These will be awarded by the MBA Program Director based upon qualifications and merit.
The average class size is 25 students.
No, neither the GMAT or GRE are required for admission.
All faculty who teach in the MBA Program hold terminal degrees in their field and have extensive, high-level industry work experience.
“A Term” residencies will take place on Fridays of the first and last week for 3 hours per course. “B Term” residencies will take place on Saturdays of the first and last week for 3 hours per course. Meeting times vary with courses being held in the morning, afternoon, and evening.
The online-only programs have historically lower success rates for reasons not fully understood, but we speculate from conversations with students that the lack of camaraderie and shared experience plays a role. By coming together, students will meet colleagues and build community.
