What is Cru Camp?
Cru Camp is UMHB's official orientation for new incoming students. Accepted students will have the opportunity to attend a variety of sessions to help them transition to UMHB, as well as be advised and registered for classes. At the end of the day, attendees will leave with their fall schedules in hand!

Am I ready for Cru Camp?
If you have completed the following check list, then it’s time to register for Cru Camp!
- Applied and been accepted to UMHB
- You are entering UMHB as a Freshman
- Your Enrollment Deposit is paid

Registration is for STUDENTS only. Guests do not need to register.
Registration for 2019 Cru Camp dates will open February 1, 2019.
If you are unable to attend one of the above dates, you may be advised over the phone or in person on or after Monday, July 9th. If you would like to make a phone or in-person advising appointment, please call the Center for Academic Excellence at (254) 295-4475 to schedule an appointment.
Please note: There is a $35 registration fee for this event. As part of the registration fee, the student will receive a free t-shirt and a meal ticket, along with 2 extra meal tickets for guests. Additional meal tickets and t-shirts can be purchased when registering and will be sold the day of Cru Camp. Students will also need to pay the $300 tuition/housing deposit before being eligible to register for classes.
Need to change your Cru Camp date?
If you already registered for Cru Camp but need to attend on a different date, please email CAE@umhb.edu with your request, and we will accommodate accordingly.
